About Reggie

Reggie Macena is an ISSA-certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist, and Certified Running Coach with over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry. His journey began with a passion for staying fit and leading a healthy lifestyle, which he turned into a lifelong career. Starting as a personal trainer, Reggie quickly rose to become the Head Personal Trainer at Lucille Roberts, where he honed his skills in personal training and client management.

In 2006, Reggie founded Good For Life Personal Training to deliver his unique brand of fitness training to a broader audience. Over the years, Good For Life has expanded into a team of highly skilled trainers and instructors, all of whom share Reggie’s commitment to providing a first-class personal training experience focused on both physical and mental well-being. The GFL approach emphasizes long-lasting health and wellness, empowering clients to elevate their fitness levels and overcome challenges both in and out of the gym.

Today, Reggie has transitioned to an online coaching platform, helping thousands of professionals worldwide make healthier decisions every day. His holistic approach to fitness and nutrition continues to inspire and transform lives, making sustainable health a reality for people from all walks of life.

Online Coaching

We offer free consultations as an opportunity to discuss your goals, availability and any health concerns you may have. We use this information to design a motivating program that is extremely efficient and fits into your schedule.

Running Support

GOOD FOR LIFE offers one on one running support with experienced marathon runners. Your running coach will assess your level of cardiovascular fitness through a series of assessment tests. Then they will develop a personalized program that works into your personal training schedule. A well-developed cardio program leads to accelerate fat loss and a leaner appearance.

Personal Training

GOOD FOR LIFE training programs incorporate the most effective and safe exercises to get you results and ensure progress. Your progress is measured weekly and logged into our customer database for greater efficiency. Our trainers specialize in many areas including weight management, body toning, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. We bring all of the equipment you need to get you the results you want.

Our Personal Trainers are all certified by major organizations. Some of our specialty certifications include, yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, nutrition and group fitness. We take great pride in providing excellent customer service and exceeding all of your expectations. (Inquire about group training and P.T.P.)

Virtual Bootcamp

Join coach Reggie for a week full-body Virtual Bootcamp! Offering flexibility for even the busiest person, Virtual Bootcamp can be done in the comfort of your own home with minimal equipment. Most of the workouts will be 45-50 minutes — efficient, effective exercise is what these Bootcamps are known for!

Sold as 1 week (2 sessions per week) package:

  • Tuesday 5:15pm

I never really enjoyed working out as it was extremely difficult to get motivated. Joining the gym only proved to be a waste of money. On the rare occasions I would go, it would be crowded and I would instantly feel intimidated by the hard bodies that surrounded me. I have always been involved in sports and have never been the type of person to go to the gym. After I completed my volleyball scholarship, I packed on a few pounds and I joined the gym. After joining, I found out that I was still not the type of person who would go to the gym, however, by joining the gym, I met Reggie. I was totally unmotivated and was not good at pushing myself to work harder. I wanted easy results. Well although they may not have been "easy", I saw results with Reggie. Over the past 8 years I would go back and forth training with Reggie when I noticed those extra pounds were back. Last July I got engaged and after I called the appropriate relatives and friends, Reggie was the next person on my list. Like everyone, over the years I have had the gym experience and even bought equipment to set up a small workout space in my home. All of those options worked for a bit of time, but in the end I found them somewhat boring and never followed through; not to mention the fact that I never knew if I was working out correctly. 13 months ago my wife finally had enough of my complaining and for my 49th birthday she got me some ‘Reggie time’ (the best gift anyone can receive)!
